The wildfires on Maui & the Big Island began to blaze the night of the 8th. By the 9th, my inner-world began following suit. The town of Lahaina, totally leveled. A leveled feeling in my heart as I read more, saw more, learned more, listened more. Tourism in any place with indigenous folks currently resisting a colonial project is wrought.
